Well she went about 4 or 5 days early! We have 3 males & 2 females. I believe 3 are NBT's. 4 are black blanket back type and one traditional piebald. Darby is being a good mom! Made for an early morning getting up at 3am....sheesh!

I agree with you. My dog is now so spoiled and almost rotten. Lol! I'm giving her the best care an owner could give his dog. I love her so much!

James, I got one of my first Decker from Kimmy about 10 years (sorry I posted 12-13 years) ago. We now own a female out of her boy Caballero & Skippin CJ's Lucy who I can honestly say has been a dream come true to own. Thanks to Christina of Skippin CJ's Ranch!!

I would like to personally say "THANK YOU!!!" to Kim for all her hard work and dedication in bringing this WONDERFUL breed back to where it is today it would not be here if she hadn't. She has poured her heart in soul into it and it is showing in the quality of pups which are now out there!

As a wonderful bounce now we will have two more of Kimmy's join our pack in just a few weeks a Seegmillers Bad Reputation X Killens Timeless Stardard male pup and then a female out of her Pure Decker Terriers with now out crossing litter Seegmillers Ring Of Fire X Seegmillers Key For Heaven. I am so excited I can hardly wait to get them here.

    Kim,

Darby looks like Hattie. Flash looks more like Grit. What I found interesting is that they are almost the same height at the shoulder (17")but Darby looks like she weighs alot more. We weighed them the other night and Darby was 33 lbs and Flash 31 lbs....his is just all sleek muscle. Should make an interesting combination....I'm curious on the coloring of the pups. Both dogs have predominant white in their backgrounds but less so than the blanket back coloring. I love the darker dogs but it makes it darned hard to see them at night! LOL

    James,

I completely agree with you...Darby is a bigger female and she has a lot of bone to spare...I love her broad chuckle head....Flash has a finer build and he is a true "outcross" Cracker Jack Daisy and her line were really a bonus add in my book and one helluva find at the time!!!....I have Seegmillers Sylvia and Seegmillers Joy here and they both go right back to hose Flint dogs! Old time lines right back to the forefront!!!!!! With traditional looks...you could not go wrong here!!!!

New Breeding for a New Board Empty New Breeding for a New Board

Post  James Mon Jun 27, 2011 5:01 pm

Just wanted to announce a First Time Breeding for either of these dogs. They are one generation removed from the foundation dogs that Kimmy used to start her kennel and continue the breed. Life got in the way but this breeding has been planned for some time. If she took we will have pups on the ground in the middle of August.

    Seegmiller's Kansas Flash 60.93% (Flash) - Brown's Best Chance 100% x Cracker Jack Daisy 21.875%

    Seegmiller's Spanish Doll 100% (Darby) - Seegmiller's Mexican Gambler 100% x Seegmiller's Dolly Madison 100%

Pups will be right at 80.46% and will be tightly line bred with Brown's Grit showing as the Grandfather in 3 of the 4 positions. Both dogs have great personalities and Flash has all kinds of hunt drive. Darby is the loveable one. I will post pictures of each when I figure out how on this new board.

By the way the board looks great!

    Thanks,

    James
